Media Scheduler Privacy Policy

Media Scheduler and MS Remote are audio scheduling and remote-control apps published by AT Solutions. This policy explains what information the apps access, collect, use, transfer, and store.

Information stored on your device

Media Scheduler stores schedules, tasks, selected audio track details, playback progress, calendar data, settings, logs, backups, and trusted remote device records locally on your device. Audio files selected for Media Scheduler may be copied or moved into the Media Scheduler library folder on your device, depending on the option you choose. MS Remote stores local preferences and paired server details needed to reconnect to a trusted Media Scheduler device.

Information sent to Firebase

Media Scheduler may send registration, app usage, and device information to Firebase to help with app administration, diagnostics, approval, and access control. This can include your entered email address and registered city, an install identifier, Firebase anonymous user ID, app name, app version, build number, package name, platform, device brand, manufacturer, model, device name, Android version, Android SDK version, first seen date, last seen date, heartbeat date, approval/block status, and total open days. MS Remote does not currently send registration records to Firebase.

Approximate location

Media Scheduler may use a free IP lookup service to estimate IP city, country, region, and timezone. This is approximate location based on network/IP information, not GPS location. The apps do not request precise location permission.

Permissions

Media Scheduler requests permissions needed for its main features, including music/audio access, notifications, exact alarms, wake locks, foreground media playback, and local network remote access. These permissions are used to import and play selected media, start scheduled playback on time, keep playback working when appropriate, and allow paired devices to control the app over the local network. MS Remote uses internet/network access to discover and control a paired Media Scheduler device on the same network and to upload audio files selected by the user to that paired device.

Remote control and audio transfer

MS Remote connects to a paired Media Scheduler device on your local network after approval on the main app. Remote commands, schedule details, server details, and selected audio files may be transferred between your devices over the local network. Selected audio files are transferred only when you choose to import them from MS Remote.

Sharing

The apps do not sell your data. Media Scheduler data may be processed by Firebase and the IP lookup provider for the purposes described above. MS Remote may transfer selected audio files and remote-control commands to your paired Media Scheduler device.

Security

Data sent to Firebase or IP lookup services is transmitted over HTTPS. Local app data remains on your device unless you choose to back it up, upload it, or transfer selected files to a paired device. MS Remote uses local network communication with the paired Media Scheduler device.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, recreate the database, uninstall the app, or remove the relevant files. Firebase usage records may be retained for app administration and diagnostics. You can request deletion of Firebase records associated with your install identifier by contacting the developer.
